I feel so fortunate to have worked at Brunswick with Marian and her wonderful team. Every day was filled with the pleasure of seeing the young children there develop their personalities and skills in a caring and creative environment. Marian was a wise, kind and inspiring leader who created this special warm haven of early years learning in the heart of Cambridge, and gave much encouragement to parents. Marian’s friendship since the Brunswick days has been special and her Christmas letters with news of the family were always a joy to read. In 2016 Chris and I had a short holiday staying in Southgate and we will always remember the lovely evening we spent having supper with Marian and Graham, swapping family news and reminiscing.
