As both a staff member and parent at Brunswick Nursery School, I remember Marian for her celebration of the uniqueness of each child, and her passion for harnessing and developing their interests and skills. Our son, Dafydd, attended Brunswick Nursery School in the early 1990s.He was especially fond of drawing cars, with great attention to detail. I remember Marian ensuring that he was given suitable writing materials to facilitate this joy in drawing. Years later, we spent a year in Swansea. On bumping into Marian a couple of times she remembered Dafydd and took time to stop and talk to him. This touched me immensely.
